[QUOTE="old01cobra, post: 15912960, member: 141196"] No problem. You can get 1000cc injectors for 700 bucks through them. Then sometimes depending on your tuner etc or knowing someone you can get them a little cheaper 600ish. I wound up getting the 1000cc for my build. They come in a nice box all foamed locked. They're all data matched. They show all the slope flows. The lowest is 940cc and the highest is 948cc with a base pressure of 43 psi so as you can see the flow match is less than 1 percent across the 8. They do the injector offset data the ones I got range from 1275 to 1297 giving a average of 1287us so a 1.7 percent deviation not bad at all. So the set I have they rated them at 1267 rwhp gas and 975 rwhp for E85 running high ass pressure like 83. But running it at 50+ they'll still make 1000rwhp. The voltage offsets etc. Each set will be different as the carts given actually have the part numbers on each injector. With everything being bosch based/redesigned bosch etc. why pay just over 1000 bucks for ID 1050x's, the FIC 1000's will do nearly the same for 300+ less. I know if you talk to ID they'll say well they're better blah blah blah.... Maybe they are.... Who knows none of us do.... But I've seen a few cars dump the FIC's for the 1050x's when they came out and they got nothing out of them, no difference from V's to cobras etc. Just because ID claims they've got better mapping and revisions from the previous ID1000's doesn't mean anything. The coyote is a somewhat advanced engine while the LSx engine's are archaic correct (mmm pushrods haven't seen that in a ford for nearly 30 years)? They still make comparable power or more or less... FIC's from my experience are ID1000's with better idle quality, they seem better matched (personal observation). ID changed stuff probably for marketing because of companies like FIC and others etc. trying to put that gap between the competition again. What really matters is the tuner your using. If they're familiar with FIC's and ID's etc... If they have them all mapped out etc then no difference will be had between the two except maybe peak depending on the size. I have no affiliation with ID or FIC.... Its just ID used to be pricey because they were it, no others out there. Now to me ID has turned into that icon and icons have a image and price to keep up. I just don't think a different solenoid/magnet and a different tip is going to do anything for the average build with a EEC V module controlling them lol. Maybe a 2500hp car with a stand alone system can utilized the claims ID has over its competition but then again how invasive are FIC's alterations of the bosch products now?
