Good Starter Mods

a Friend just picked up a white '95 L' with a 140,000 miles

so far for mods it has black powder coated '99 L' rims on 295 nexen tires

Traction Bars

No cats whatsoever, exhaust is sorta coming out before the rear tire (mainly still under the bed)

and just a Drop in Filter.

Ran a 14.9 in the 1/4th and a 9.8 in the 1/8th

what other mods should he look into?

pulleys? MSD ignition? intake? dyno tune?

what are some good starter mods for these trucks?

Smog pump delete, Elect. fan. I have what they call a 460 air inlet tube. Its not a cure all, it moves the air intake for the airbox form on top of the radiator and moves it to the side and in front of the radiator. You can bump the base timing but you will have to run 93 all the time. I have seen some guys run a cobra water pump pulley as well.
