Took my HK VP9SK to the range on Friday along with my S&W Performance Center Shield. As I expected, I was more accurate with the HK at both 20' and 30'. Lesser recoil and easier to sight (white 3-dot photoluminescent dot on the HK vs. orange/green HI-VIZ® Fiber Optic for the Shield. Can't wait to get back to the range. Funny story, or not-so-funny story. While I was at the range Friday I was talking to the range officer after I finished shooting. He was showing me the new monitoring setup that show all of the shooting stations in separate windows. Suddenly he yells, "got to go" and off he went into the shooting area. I noticed on the monitor what he was concerned about. Some woman around 50 years old who was shooting must have dropped something that rolled on the floor to the booth on her left, where a guy was shooting. She was on all fours crawling to her left and was literally crawling under his shooting arm as he was shooting. OMG! I didn't stay to see what the outcome was, but I'm guessing she either got a stern warning or was asked to leave. What the heck was she thinking?
