So I just finished putting on some nights shades spray tint on my tail lights. So as you all may know that all it does is darken the lenses but leaves it with a matte/flat black look. I should of looked for tutorials first. Now I read somewhere about some wet sanding steps and clear coating. Is it too late for my lights or can I still fix them and give them a nice gloss finish?

get some 1800 grit wet sand it and some good clear from the auto parts store. from what i heard the cheap clear will fad and flake
what i did was 2 coats vht wet sand 2 coats vht wet sand 2 coats clear wet sand 2 coats clear., it look smooth and wet and lasted a long time

yea bro...wetsand it and buff it out. it'll shine it up and make it feel smooth as well. Heres how mine came out on my last car. I had someone do it for me though cause I don't wanna mess anything up and have it come out looking like crap.
