How to remove silencer in GT?

New to GT, in fact haven't looked under hood yet - it's too damn cold.

Anyway I have an 03 Cobra and bought wife an 04 GT.

Is removing the silencer for the air filter the same as in the Cobra?

Anyone have any info on this?

I pretty sure you just take that whole little assembly out and pull the air silencer off and then put the assembly back in. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No, you dont have to take the whole thing off. Just push down on the silencer next to the airbox and it'll pop out then pull it up out uf the way

Thats how mine came out in Hooters parking lot one day at a show, took like 30 seconds
