After putting it off for a year, I finally grabbed the platinum Autolite 764's, gapped them, and threw them in my 98. It also helps that I had a $5-off coupon for Advance Auto Parts :)What a difference good plugs make! ( I know, I'm preaching to the choir) Mine were the OEM ones with 62K on them, all fouled out and nasty looking. Wires looked okay, but I'll throw new ones on sometime soon. I just grabbed the plugs after the car started to hesitate a little, and felt like it was bogging. Not a full tune-up, but the air and fuel filters are less than 6 months old, and in good shape. Just wanted to share my happiness with the "gang". The girlfriend just doesn't understand when I tell her about it  A side note: There was a lot of dried-up "used car schlack" clear coat spray on some rubber parts such as the sides of the intake tube, and plug bank covers. I hate this crap!!
