Ceasefire NJ...what a joke group. First of all you do realize that NJ has some of the strictest gun laws in the country; yet we have some of the most dangerous cities. Walking from the Trenton Station to the Capital was pretty bad in the middle of the day in a group of 10. Secondly, because of NJs ass-backwards laws unless you, yourself, are cornered with an assailant pointing a gun in your face you cannot take a shot unless you want to go directly to jail. Hell you may have to be shot before you can take a shot at a home intruder because of the liberal logic. Here is another fun law from NJ. If you posses a non-functioning BB gun and you leave your house and head to a non-designated gun range or gun shop you face 18 months in prison. This includes deviating from the most direct route. Same goes for traveling with hollow point .22 ammo, except you face a minimum of 5 years in jail. Now on to what occurred after the rally. NJ state democRATS are rushing to push through 20 new gun control measures(similar to NY state). One major law would be a change to round limits from 15 rounds to 5. None of my guns can carry less than 7. So Ms. Bocour, because I am a law abiding citizen I would have to give up all of my guns. One other bill will force you to have a background check each time you purchase ammo. As if we aren't wasting enough money by forcing the NJSP to call NICS for us, we are now going to do this for ammo purchases? So tell me Gadfly, with all your liberal intellect, how is there no issue to this? I cannot defend myself or my family. I have to give up my firearms which I purchased, and more of my hard earned tax money will be wasted by this hell hole state's government! And everyone wonders why this is the #1 state losing residents.
