Ford (<a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/F?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=msn.com" target="_blank">F</a>) sold about 254,000 trucks and vans in the quarter, rising 19.6% from Q1 2022. Three-row SUVs and the Bronco brand were also credited for the strong year over year growth, balancing more modest sales growth for cars and smaller SUVs.</p><p>The automaker also noted an over 40% rise in quarterly EV sales to 10,866 vehicles. Hybrid sales meanwhile fell 4.1% to 27,064.</p><p></p><p>“Ford is off to a fast start to the year. Ford’s sales growth and investments are a direct result of strong customer demand across our truck, SUV, and electric vehicle segments,” Andrew Frick, Ford vice president of sales distribution and trucks, said in a statement.</p></blockquote><p></p>
