Just had my dealer fit a Fidanza flywheel and Centerforce DF clutch. Night and Day from my exceptionally heavy first run '03 clutch which stayed in 33months and 33k miles (the OEM clutch was damaging my knee joint). The DF is much, much lighter and feels like butter in the engagement. I'm now in the 600mile break-in period, 590 miles to go! However I have nearly two inches of pedal travel from the top before the cable appears to take up the slack when depressing the clutch. My UPR firewall adjuster is already adjusted quite far out, much farther than it was with the stocker. Is this long travel normal for a CF DF? Maybe I need to relocate the cable on the pedal? Also when taking off from rest and engaging the clutch at low revs I feel a slight shudder through the pedals and the shifter wobbles a little. Is this normal until the plate seats in properly or is this a concern?
