I found a 2003 Ford Mustang GT for $16,500 ..

It has :
Chrome Cobra Wheels, 5 speed, Leather, 8,600 miles, traction control, 6 disc, Power Everything...

Do you guys think this is a good price??
I'm not 2 familar with mustangs, always been a Camaro guy, and wanting to try a Stang out.

Thanks guys for the reply's back.
I talked the guy down from 18,500, so I doubt if he will come down anymore. But its all good. Does anyone know where i can get check insurance in Bama?? I know its high as heck for a 21 yr old guy. Thanks.

Check with Progressive and Geico, it should not be that bad with a good record. I was only paying 120 a month when I was 22 with a new Stang GT at the time. The price you got is a nice one as well.

It's fair but there is a $4,000 rebate on 03 GT's. With my X-Plan there was an additional $500 rebate and add in the X-Plan discount I think the new 03 I was looking at was going to cost $18,700 for a GT Premium with Mach 460 and ABS 5speed.

I ended up with a new 04 GT for my wife - picking up monday. $3,000 rebate, apx $1700 off for X-Plan and an additional $500 off X-Plan bonus. It ended up costing $20,500 brand new 8 miles on it. This one has Mach 460, ABS, interior dress up kit...

I would look for a new 03 from dealer stock and get that $4,000 rebate than ask if someone can get you an X-Plan pin.

With 4k rebate not to mention you can get 5 percent interest through anywhere,(I also can get the employee discount) I wouldnt consider that a good deal. But thats just me.

But for the 16,500, I would say if its in top shape for for it.

As I mentioned with X-Plan and the bonus $500 X-Plan rebate I could have bought a new 03 for $18,700 with leather, Mach 460, ABS. Went for new 04 same equip, lower rebate higher sticker cost me something like $20,500
