just bought a 98 vert...

Hey guys, just bought a blue 98 convertible. I have a few quick questions...
First, it has the front tag holder and it seems it is plastic riveted into the front fascia...anyone know a way to get this off without damaging the front fascia? I want to do a tune up. Anyone have some links for the best wires and plugs? Also, the driver door will only unlock by using the key. It will lock from inside using the button, but the key fob will not lock or unlock the driver side. Is this the motor that is out?

drill the rivets out with a small size bit. the rest of the questions would be better fit for the SN95 section.
