I just got a 7336 SP at Lowe's - what all do I need for an absolute top notch detail job? I mean which pads, polishes, waxes, etc. I will clay as well.

You need a backing plate for pads.
My preferences
Few pads: white/black/blue
Polishes/Wax: Poorboys SSR 2.5 / Clearkote Red Machine Glaze / Clearkote Carnuba Moose Wax.
This combo yields me superb results with black. Other may chime in on something that works well on DSG.
Oh yeah, and Scott at Specialty Motoring is your go to guy.

Click ont eh link in my signature. For $50 something, you get four pads and a velcro backing plate. You can always give me a call with specific questions too.
hey also try autopia.com for thier sonus pads. I really liked their service as well. It is also at a fair price. Quality pads with velcro backing plate included.
Go to www.properautocare.com and get some LC constant pressure pads and a velcro backing plate. I would also pick up some Menzerna polishes while I was there (IP and FPII)
