... the FIPK has greater flow capability than the stock unit. With the hood closed the air filter is less susceptible to drawing air from the HOT engine compartment than other so called CAI's. We have a dyno day coming up. I have a customer that had a bone stock 03 Cobra we ran on the dyno and recorded a baseline reading. We then installed a SLP Loudmouth catback and recorded more dyno runs. The customer has since installed a K&N FIPK. We will dyno the car again during our upcoming dyno day. We will post dyno graphs showing changes the FIPK made with a Cobra that is otherwise stock with exception to the catback... should be interesting.

BTWm we carry the FIPK in stock;-)

I gained 24 HP with the addition of the FIPK and cat-back, but it was hot on the day I ran my second dyno. Numbers were SAE but I don't think that makes up for the heat.

After install of the two I got 398HP
