We installed a Kenne Bell 2.8 LC on my 2013 GT500. Like many of you I didn't want to replace my factory hood and the Kenne Bell 3.6 LC requires an aftermarket hood. Working closely with Jim Bell at Kenne Bell we discussed the merits of a 2.8 on the 2013 GT500 and power and torque with different pulley combinations. The attached dyno graphs have specific bar points that provide Horsepower, Torque and Boost at different RPM. The objective quite simply was to see how much power and torque is needed at peak levels and at varying engine RPM with a Kenne Bell 2.8 on 93 pump gas. RunFile 17 BLUE is with a 3.00" upper pulley RunFile 20 RED is with a 3.25" upper pulley All dyno pulls were done with a Kenne Bell 5" intake and Dual 75MM Throttle Body. Next testing session will be with the Kenne Bell 128MM Oval Throttle Body. *Note: I open track my 2013 GT500 and never tach the car over 6,000 engine RPM on track. My recent visit to Daytona International Speedway was with the 3.25 Upper pulley only. Graph #1 Boost @ 6,000 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 15.67 lbs Boost @ 6,000 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 13.12 lbs Torque @ 6,000 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 629.71 ft lbs Torque @ 6,000 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 578.51 ft lbs RWHP @ 6,000 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 719.57 RWHP @ 6,000 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 659.16 Graph#2 Boost @ 6,500 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 17.48 lbs Boost @ 6,500 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 14.48 lbs Torque @ 6,500 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 608.43 ft lbs Torque @ 6,500 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 551.29 ft lbs RWHP @ 6,500 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 753.12 RWHP @ 6,500 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 682.76 Graph#3 Boost @ 7,000 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley no reference Boost @ 7,000 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley no reference Torque @ 7,000 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 555.08 ft lbs Torque @ 7,000 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 530.61 ft lbs RWHP @ 7,000 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 739.75 RWHP @ 7,000 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 707.19 Graph #4 Peak Boost and Horsepower Reference Boost @ 6,800 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 18.5 lbs Boost @ 6,800 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 15.3 lbs RWHP @ 6,800 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 753 RWHP @ 6,800 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 707 Graph #5 Boost to Peak Torque Reference Boost @ 4,550 RPM: 3.00" Upper Pulley 13.84 lbs - Torque 691 Boost @ 4,550 RPM: 3.25" Upper Pulley 10.79 lbs - Torque 629 What's impressive in the findings for me is the horsepower, torque and lower boost to accomplish the power figures. This was all done with a stock lower damper. Van
