I just got a new set of Kumho V710s 275 40 17s from tire rack. I can not wait to get these on the car and race this weekend. I have been running on Summitomo HTRZ IIs with my 98 cobra and needless to say traction is limited.

No. I asked many of the the pros in my region and they said this is not necessary for the V710s. Hey also said not to shave this tire.

The tires will last much longer if they are heat cycled, either by you or by tirerack. I just corded a set this past weekend that was older than I will ever admit to them being.

I bought a set of 4 used and old kumho V710's same size for $200 and wow what a difference, I can only imagine one's that are brand new are like
