The website at evoperformance.com says that the tb is a bolt on piece. Then I read elsewhere that you need seperate electronics to drop it in. I didn't see anything of the sort linked to the tb buying page on their website. So what gives?

You buy the new TB and then you have to take the electronics off your current tb and install them onto your new one.
