This just in...crew_dawg16's reading comprehension owns him. Seriously dude, don't embarrass yourself. Go back and read what I wrote. :nonono: Mentality?? Care to respond as to why you didn't read and comprehend what I actually wrote? You're just bashing without supported facts and it's quite disturbing that a law enforcement officer (which you claim to be) would do something as such. You completing a basic academy doesn't qualify you. Sorry. A strike to the face is a defensive tactic, always has been, always will be. If you know of instructors who don't teach it then I suggest you seek further instruction. You're being cheated. A strike to the face is an option when appropriate, as with all other responses to resistance. PLEASE SHOW ME WHERE I SAID THE DEPUTY HAD ACTED APPROPRIATELY? If you guys have ever been into a real fight on the job then you would know. Clearly this is a case of "bench racing". You've never applied these tactics, and if not trained on how to properly do it, you'll end up on the losing end of a fight when your other "options" are scattered throughout the area. I can't remember the last time I or another Officer I have worked with or trained has gotten into a real fight while on patrol and not lost half of their equipment during the fight. These holders are made of plastic and nylon, not steel. This shit breaks, easily. Get out of your dream world. Good luck in your next botch slapping contest. See if the suspect will fight in the same manner. :bored:
