Anyone out there know if you can get out of a three year lease early and what the penalties are?

Im not for sure but i think there are some penalties. Check how much he car is worth and then see how much you still owe on it. It might be better to try to sell it on the private market so that way you dont lose any money.

Yup, you have the option to "buy out" your lease(sell your car or trade it in relation to the "payoff" value). If its within 6 months of ending, many manufacturers offer incentives to allow you to get out of it provided you are buying another same-make product.

Precisely, or you can transfer the lease to someone else.
