I liked the Toyo MT's because I could get 40k miles on a set vs 25k for BFG AT which perform better in the snow.</p><p></p><p>So after sliding into a neighbors front yard and breaking my side view mirror on a street sign I decided that I was going to get the largest size, E load rating (cuz its a HD diesel) stud-able option snow tires. I ended up going with General Artic LT in 285/70/17 from Tire Rack (33" equivalent with no studs installed)</p><p><img src="https://www.4tires.ca/images/produits/general-grabber-arctic.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /> </p><p>Talk about a night and day performance! I am now able to jam on the brakes as hard as possible when driving down steep compacted snow/ ice covered streets and have it come to a quick stop. Its so nice to feel safe when driving with my family in the snow. I now use my 35" Toyo MT's as Summer tires and switch to these General's in the winter. They may not look as cool as 35" MT's but at least I can keep my family safe when the roads turn to shit.</p></blockquote><p></p>
