I have an 11 year old Sharp 52" LCD I'm waiting to fail, paid $ 1475.48 in Oct. 2008. Because of space limitations, I can't go larger than 55", I have decided on an OLED. In the Nov. 2019 Consumer Reports, their # 4 pick was an LG ( OLED55C9PUA ) which they listed @ $ 1800.00. I have read several reviews & this model is the top of the heap in a 55". Searching the mfg.'s model # this morning I was able to find one listed for $ 1296.00........I will continue to track this item, & will own one soon. For those looking for a larger set, CR lists several 65" models. ......( top 5 in the order they listed them ) Sony ( XBR-65AG9 ) $ 3800.00 LG ( OLED65C9PUA ) $ 2800.00 Sony ( XBR-65A8G ) $ 3500.00 LG ( OLED65E9PUA ) $ 3800.00 LG ( OLED65C9AUA ) $ 2750.00...............Both of the Sony's are OLED..
