Police Interceptors are regular Crown Vics with everything Heavy Duty on them.... lately they've been receiving some significant HD options like extra coolers, more frame supports and some suspension upgrades that can only be seen on the Marauder which is pretty much same car only $10,000 bux more and with a different engine (DOHC over SOHC)

at this year's Woodward Dream cruise Ford rolled out a 2004 Police Interceptor with a DOHC, so the PI is a test monkey for Ford on developing new products.
