Really sorry for the loss of your mother OP, and my condolences go out to you and your family. This thread made me think about what it would be like when my parents are gone and the thought of not being able to simply just call them to talk crushes me. My parents are in their mid 60s so they are vulnerable but my mom thinks she already had it and I'm hoping my dad is just asymptomatic since he has likely been exposed to it either from work or from my mom if she did have it. I know how intense this virus can be as it has been wreaking havoc on me still even though I got over the initial intense part in just 2 days after symptoms started back on December 4th. I feel like I'm mostly in the clear now but I was throwing up on Christmas night and the days following because something happens with your stomach where you just lose your appetite entirely. Some food will sound good yet you take 2 or 3 bites and then the next thing you know you are throwing it up or it just doesn't sit well and then your appetite is gone for the rest of the day. On top of that I get random hot flashes that come on within seconds and makes me sweat immediately, and I have also found myself struggling to breath a few times. Usually it's while laying down and I will just get a random moment where I'm not inhaling and it's a small struggle that takes some focus to really get enough air. That compared to my girlfriend who is still getting migraines and is just overall exhausted all the time, and then her sister who managed to only get pink eye while her husband was almost in the hospital with Covid and pneumonia. The vitamins and supplements do help a lot though so I recommend everyone take them now if you aren't already.
