[QUOTE="Logan2003Cobra, post: 16184780, member: 17851"] It was a 3 hour mess... I'll avoid any specifics or significant spoilers but give some details as to why I feel this way. - The first hour was simply depressing; I get that they wanted the audience to feel the emotional pain of the survivors but there wasn't enough emotional upswing to balance the negativity. - I think Captain America, his story, and Comic Book Easter Eggs, were probably the best part of the movie, but I also think it cheapens/lessens the others because his story is so well done and almost everyone else pales in comparison (other than Hawkeye... his is a close second to Captain America). - I'm not sure what their motivation with Thor was but I strongly disagree with how they portrayed him... If you are a die hard Thor fan you will probably be pissed. - I don't like what they did with Iron Man... it was recycled from the first Avengers movie and Black Widow already stole his emotional thunder. - The Hulk was just wasted potential - They absolutely touched on several SJW areas just not as overtly as they did in The Last Jedi... the problem with putting politics into a movie is the story often suffers or feels off. In this case it's just obvious what they are doing with no benefit to the story i.e. token xyz. - The comedy scenes were funny but several just seemed out of place and/or unnecessary... Very Minor Spoiler... the Hulk photo scene where Ant-Man is jealous - like this is what people would care about post dusting. - The final battle was well done but it could/should have been longer and/or broken up in to several battles placed earlier in the film to break up some of the monotony. I was left feeling like I didn't get enough of this hero vs. that villain and wanting a little more sweet revenge... Minor Spoiler - Captain Marvel showed how powerful she is but the amount of destruction and butt kicking she did would have been more fulfilling/satisfying coming from one of the original Avengers as they are the ones who have a vested interest in seeking justice or revenge.
