Anyone living in CA should not be surprised. This state is hell bent of forcing companies and businesses to conform to whatever crazy BS they come up with. I've gotten into arguments with some of the crazy hard core lefties I know and they buy into whatever the state pushes without questioning anything, it's actually scary. When I point out that things like this will not only drive out business but also increase our cost of living their attitude is basically ****em if they don't want to conform and they can leave. They basically stab themselves in the hand and then ask why it hurts. Living in this state and hearing some of the insane legislation proposed by our elected officials I am fully convinced the people will eventually elect enough lunatics that gas and diesel vehicles will be outlawed entirely or they will tax fuel so hard they will force it all out of the state. Ami Bera himself actually wanted to propose legislation to tax gas so much that as he put it would force people to use alternate modes of transportation or buy EV's. This is just the tip of the iceberg that will eventually hit the state head on. Unless something drastic happens my wife and I will not be retiring here and if I could I'd move out of CA tomorrow because its just getting worse with no light at the end of the tunnel. Even though we have a lot of years before we can float the idea of retiring we plan to start making trips to others states to try and figure out where we want to spend our final days.
