My 04 2.8KB build picture heavy

<blockquote data-quote="00hlyshift00" data-source="post: 16462704" data-attributes="member: 196408"><p>[ATTACH=full]1654314[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=full]1654315[/ATTACH] Well here it goes, I purchased the car from a fellow member on the forums last November.</p><p>Car prior to me made 650/621 on a 2.8 KB with standard inlet and monoblade accufab tb, KB boost a pump, 60# injectors on a stock t56 and clutch (was supposed to be upgraded....it wasn't) Some issues with j2fab(that's a whole other ordeal)</p><p>Anyways long story short I wanted to put my touch on the car and make it what Ive always wanted short of building the short block and sending the heads out.</p><p></p><p>So here is the long list of what I did.</p><p>Trackspec hood vents</p><p>Lots powder coat work lol</p><p>Comp Cams XE274-BH116</p><p>Comp Cams springs and retainers</p><p>MMR secondary tensioners</p><p>MMR SHD secondary chain</p><p>MMR primary billet guides and arms w/oem steel ratcheting tensioner</p><p>New OEM primary chains</p><p>TFS lower 2 piece timing sprocket (pinned into 1 after degreeing)</p><p>Innovators West damper w/metco rings +2 currently</p><p>Metco idlers 100mm(3),90mm (1) with sub idler</p><p>ARS s/c tensioner</p><p>Gates Green belt</p><p>ARH 1 7/8 LT to 3 inch xpipe to 3 inch bassani exhaust</p><p>Fore Fi2 regulator, Fore Fuel twin pump hanger</p><p>twin walbro/ti automotive 450's</p><p>Fore triple fuel pump controller w/ 2nd pump on hobbs switch</p><p>10 an feed/ 8an return.</p><p>VMP GT500 inlet elbow with VMP shaved off</p><p>VMP GT500 style mechanical linkage mono blade TB</p><p>my own custom sheetmetal passenger inlet for the KB</p><p>my own 5 inch custom mafless intake tube with a 12x7.5x5 S&B filter</p><p>my own custom heat exchanger w/10 inch fans on a thermostat</p><p>my own custom sc/engine coolant tank (holds 2 gallons of SC coolant) 1/2 gallon of engine</p><p>has air gap between the tanks to help alleviate heat transfer and mounted on in stock location</p><p>MAF racing crash bar</p><p>EMP pump with 1 inch lines</p><p>My own modded IC for J2 flow mod and tubes, Cut the end tank off ported and drilled out for max fow then re welded after a CLR descale treatment.</p><p>Improved racing remote oil filter w/180 thremostat</p><p>Improved racing block adapter</p><p>Setrab Oil cooler(10an lines everywhere)</p><p>170* Thermostat in upper hose</p><p>whipple gen5 coolant cross over tube (modified)</p><p>12 an breather lines to my own custom fender catch cans</p><p>Line Lock</p><p>MS3Pro PNP</p><p>Innovate DLG-1 dual wide bands wired into the MS3PRO</p><p>Continental flex fuel sensor wired to the ms3pro</p><p>FIC1200</p><p>My own custom battery reloation with kill switch</p><p>1/0 to the starter</p><p>2ga to the alternator</p><p>J2fab 200 denso hairpin altenator</p><p>Mcleod RXT twin disc with billet steel flywheel w/adjuable pivot ball</p><p>FRPP TOB</p><p>26 spline input shaft</p><p>billet key ways on the syncros</p><p>brass shift fork sliders</p><p>adjusted preloads for high perfomance applications</p><p>MGW shifter with STD handle and MWG ball</p><p>ATS brembos with z26 pads w/chris salmons kit</p><p>10.5 chome cobra wheels in rear with NT555R extreme drag</p><p></p><p>Im sure I am missing stuff Ill edit later.</p><p>All fab work and welding and machining is done by me.</p><p>Issues with J2 are on going. I was one of the ones who bought the new intercooler he came out with that has been a nightmare, 6 months of waiting for a cooler that has insane IAT2 temps. Bought a stocker , modded it and have had no issues since, just broke the new clutch in and awaiting to get it on the dyno for 93 tune , then the e85 tune and blend the maps with the MS3PRO.</p><p></p><p>oh and paint correction and ceramic coated with McKees 37 ceramic paint coating</p></blockquote><p></p>
