So today I got the chance to do 4 laps at Old Bridge Englishtown Raceway Park on their short road course (1.1 miles 6 turns longest straight away 1600 ft) now its my first drive in anything north of 400 hp and I must say it's an absolute monster. Coming out of the second corner to that long straight the ride along instructor(no choice on that decision) said mash it and it just hooked and went. Everyone had to drive the cars in their auto settings so we could concentrate on just keeping the cars in the line. The handling is top notch and even the way it shifts is crisp clean and extremely fast. Unfortunately I was only able to muster the car up to about 105 in that 1500ft straight due to the instructors wanting us to coast through turns and drag race it out of the corner (I tried to use the throttle through the turn and got an ear full everytime.) I 100% would recommend anyone that's gets a chance to drive one to do it. I got the ride along experience as a Bday present but I would definitely pay the $199 to do it again on a longer course. Edit: pretty sure the car was never shut off the entire day except for refueling. It was low 80's all day with the a/c blasting the whole time also Edit 2: youtube video don't mind my goofy ass face at the end.
