Man, 6 weeks to post an update but I've been working hard! :D Engine is back in the car and I managed to get it in without any major gouges in the shiny bits! The engine wire harness was pretty beat up so I decided to re-tape it using self-fusing tape (just like OEM). The tape has no adhesive so it will never turn into a sticky mess like electrical tape. I found this stuff on Amazon, works/looks great! Since I had the wire harnesses out I decided to integrate with wires for the oil pressure and oil temperature gauges into the factory alternator/starter harness. I removed the alternator charge wire from the harness since I will be running 0 gauge cables to between the alt and battery. 0 gauge cables from the side terminals to the alternator. Positive wire has a 200 amp fuse. There's also a ground cable to the header panel.
