Trackcross went absolutely excellent yesterday. I prepped the car the best i could and it paid off big time. I was 13/75 in raw times morning runs and 18/72 in afternoon runs. Car went faster than some serious hardware as this event was absolutely stacked with some ridiculous high end cars. I did experience some issues. I have never really had the torque vectoring intrude enough to cause me issues. I believe i am now at that point. You could feel the torque vectoring in quite a few corners. From what ive researched this seems to be where the limit of my setup is being uncovered. The Mfactory LSD pushed that threshold back enough to get the car faster but i think ive finally hit the wall that alot of guys are experiencing. So, on runs where the TV kicked in, i lost between .2-.3 seconds from two to three corners. Where it didnt kick in or my driving didnt get to that threshold the car was significantly faster. This is on 215/45R16 Azenis mounted on 16x8 wheels. Guys are usually tripping this limit with 100tw tires with stiffer spring rates. I am kinda stumped on where to go next - more tire, more spring or increasing anti-roll rate.... So, 15x8 wheels are coming in the next week or so. Go with 200tw or just go for broke and grab some 100tw R-compounds? Ill post some photos when guys start uploading them. Also have video i have to go through of the runs.
