Ok I tried to post this in tech, but it wouldnt let me for some reason  Anyway, my cobra sometimes totally stutters and loses power at the end of 1st gear when I am getting on it pretty hard. I almost thought it was the rev limiter or something, but rpms arent that high. I let off, shift to second, and lean on it hard through 3rd and all seems ok. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, I would hate to take it to the dealer and tell them it peters out in first when I nail it. TIA...striker

Thanks for the reply man. I always let my car fully warm up before I get on it, so its definately not from being too cold. Thanks though man.

I think it's a flaw in the manufacturer tune.... my car has done that before too. I think if you get an after market tune that problem might go away... I'm not sure though.

Thats interesting numberonestunna, I never considered that. Also interesting that others are having this problem. Anyone else think the stock tune might be the problem?

PlatinumCobra, I think I can handle the vacuum lines, but how the heck do I "check the fuel rail pressure sensor"? Thanks, striker

It's easiest to just replace it for $60 or so, or have the dealer look at if you feel comfortable doing so.

Here are several threads regarding this topic:

You can also perform a search for more info.

Yeah I should have done a search on that first, sorry. Thanks a lot for the great info man....striker

Not a problem. You probably would not have been able to find a possible solution via search unless you knew what it was to begin with.
