I have one of them there built t45's n thus far it has taken everything I have thrown at it and then some... Hoping to put another bolt on b head in the 11's once it cools around here. I'm with Todd on this though... For a no power adder n/a car t45 or 3650 is where it's at. Not to mention I know and have driving a few t56 cars, cobras and a modified GTO t56 swapped to modular bell and they r notchy as crap, the t45 is so smooth through the gear changes. All I was getting at is he went from 3.3x 1st gear with a 3.27 rear to a 4.56 rear with a 2.9x or 2.6 1st gear... That almost negated every bit of his gear swap. Just saying.. If u crunched the numbers I bet it would b like going from a 3.27-3.55 gear or something. Sure it's nice to have that .50 ratio for highway cruising... But if u chose to 4.56 the car then the concern shouldn't have been mileage.. At 70 on 26" tires my car turns 28-2900, not terrible. To each their own though..
