So, I've finally gotten over my mistake (B to C Head Drama) and am ready to move forward. Knowing i won't be driving my FFR Cobra this year, the plan is to do the body work and rebuild the engine in time for next March. I would like to do a moderate effort N/A build, keeping a tight (ish) budget. What I have already -98 Teksid block -Boss Rods -Speed pro forged pistons. (stock dish) -C heads, with 98 Cobra intake cams -C intake lower. B Upper hat. -Red Monster COP Conversion -Headers with individual sidepipes -High Volume oil pump, Billet gears. -Composite windage tray Goals.. 380 range crank horsepower, keeping decent torque down low. This is not a daily driver or grocery getter. Just a toy. What I'm thinking: Mild porting on the heads. Essentiallty a clean up and massaging the bowl area. Clean up of all intake passages. Would consider aftermarket cams... Any experience from anyone. They are expensive, so it would have to be worth while. What kind of gains can be expected. Adjustable cam gears. Again are they worh while? if so What brand. Balancing of rotating assenbly etc. If i did find a good used Vortech or eaton blower setup i may consider that as well, but..... That is all I can think of for now. Thanks for your thoughts gang Tom Thanks all Tom
