Just received/installed my Custom carbon Fiber Splitter!
I looked at the BOSS splitter but was wanting something a little more....I saw the MRT One and was impressed but liked the option of the Carbon Fiber.

As it arrived:

As for any "Custom" piece there is always some modification/prep work to do. Matched up the splitter on the floor with the front bumper to see where I wanted to drill the holes:

Drilled and starting to mount the splitter....

Moc-up of how it mounted on the front bumper:

The custom splitter replaces the 2012 air-foil under the car and acts kinda like the Boss-LS splitter does to control the aerodynamics.

ALL DONE..

Looks good. I really dig the look of a splitter, but I know that it would not last a month on my car driving around New Orleans.

custom? Isn't that an APR off the shelf item?

APR yes..off the shelf, NO!
I had it custom cut for the CS front valance, with a little extra on the front sides in the shape I wanted.

Drew/traced my front bumper on cardboard, sent it in and in a week got this one back.

It was pricey, but worth it to get it the way I wanted.

Did some searching.

here is the part number: CW-200508
price is starting at $375.

so BOSS splitter is going to be A LOT cheaper.

True the boss splitter is cheaper, but I wanted something a little different.....and some times that costs a little more!
Im happy with it!

So what do you guys think.....

Go with the TruCarbon Side Skirts ($400)

or the RTR/ROUSH ones ($150)

BIG cost difference, think it will look goofy with a CF front splitter and the normal black side splitters?
