new guy question

I posted this on some other forums so if you have already seen it, sorry. I don't know how many of you guys stick to just this forum. Thanks in advance for any advice.

This is my first muscle car so please excuse my ignorance. I was listening to differnt exhaust clips on ninosports website and I really like the bassani sound but I noticed that the clip says that the car has the bassani catted x pipe and the ss axleback. How much does the x pipe affect the sound. I guess I am asking if I get just the axle back with no x pipe will the sound be anything close to the sound in the clip. Thanks guys.

It will not be the same sound. X-pipes will give it a different sound than H-pipes.

On a different note, the way clips sound on the internet are a lot different than what they sound like in real life. You have to hear them in person to get the full effect. I wouldn't make a decision from an internet sound clip.
