I bought a 93 Lightning from a friend of mine.
Mods:
Forged 408 stroker 9.3:1, used to be a turbo motor
AFR 205 Heads, cam is unknown right now
Built C6 tranny
Tubbed with 4 link and 4.11s
Longtubes and Dynomax mufflers

Anyways, I was at the local track last weekend when the fuel pump quit. Crawled underneath it thinking that it was the relay. Put a new relay on and it still didnt kick on. Its an A1000 inline pump. Jumped the relay with a paperclip and it kicked on and I made it home. I am 19 and terrible with wiring right now. I have no clue where to even start. Did something mess up in the ignition and its not sending a signal to kick on the pump? Did a wire get unplugged, or cut? Im just confused because its getting constant power when I jump the relay. Any advice would help. Ill get some pics this weekend and make another post so you guy can check it out.
Thanks

This may help you understand the relay wiring better:

If you have no signal (green wire) to close the contacts in the relay, then it will not send power across the load side to activate the fuel pump.

When you jumped it, you jumped the load side, which kicked the pump on since you basically hard wired the circuit from power (load side) of the relay to the motor.
