I am 19 and terrible with wiring right now. I have no clue where to even start. Did something mess up in the ignition and its not sending a signal to kick on the pump?
I bought a 93 Lightning from a friend of mine. Mods: Forged 408 stroker 9.3:1, used to be a turbo motor AFR 205 Heads, cam is unknown right now Built C6 tranny Tubbed with 4 link and 4.11s Longtubes and Dynomax mufflers Anyways, I was at the local track last weekend when the fuel pump quit. Crawled underneath it thinking that it was the relay. Put a new relay on and it still didnt kick on. Its an A1000 inline pump. Jumped the relay with a paperclip and it kicked on and I made it home. I am 19 and terrible with wiring right now. I have no clue where to even start. Did something mess up in the ignition and its not sending a signal to kick on the pump? Did a wire get unplugged, or cut? Im just confused because its getting constant power when I jump the relay. Any advice would help. Ill get some pics this weekend and make another post so you guy can check it out. Thanks
