[QUOTE="Sweet '96 Cobra, post: 15024367, member: 70857"] So, like many others here over the last few years I had some issues with the stock Pistons in the original Terminator shortblock and thought It was finally time for a rebuild. So I did just that! Only this time I went with a Teksid block and a brand new set of CNC ported heads and added some longtubes at the same time. I already had the Kenne Bell 2.8 Mammoth, which was installed in 2009. I started back in January of this year and finished up in May. Most of the work was done in my own garage except for the assembly of the shortblock which was done by Adam Bird at Central Auto. He also fully balanced and blue printed it at the same time and I chose to go with ARP main studs. Once the rest of the assembly had begun at home in my garage, I decided to go with Cometic Head gaskets and ARP Head studs. I also swapped out the original exhaust manifolds and installed a set of BBK ceramic coated longtubes, and before anyone says anything, yes I wanted a set of Kooks also but just didnt have enough in the budget at the time. Anyway, as you'll see in the pictures it was a family affair with both of my Kids helping me out form time to time and my Wife also. On with the Pics and Video. hope you enjoy! :) My 7 year old Daughter having fun and lending a helping hand! Hopefully memories that last a lifetime as well!
