Hey everyone! So I'm a rather experienced detailer. I used to own an arsenal of products and have worked lots with the P.C., Rupes 21, and Griot 6" polishers. I know how to do paint correction pretty well, and have done it many, many times. HOWEVER. This was in Colorado, and I now live in NYC. I live in Midtown Manhattan, and garage my Mustang in Astoria, Queens. I don't have easy access to storage, electricity, and water the way I used to. So even finding space to do proper hand washes is difficult. Long story short: I'm in search of a good detailer here in the NYC area, or somewhere within 20-25 miles of the city. The paint on my car is a damned MESS. So it will need a 2 or 3 step correction. I COULD go and buy a new polisher, backing plate, pads, micros, products, etc. and do it myself and probably spend the same amount that I will by hiring someone. Problem is, I'm a real estate broker and I work 90,000 hours a week. I just don't have the time. I'm looking for someone to do a multi-stage correction on my car to prep it for spring and summer time. Also don't want to break the bank because it's a beater GT, but it's a total mess. Anyone have any great referrals or is anyone on here in the area and up for the job? Let me know! Thanks y'all!
