no tach

I own a 1995 Mustang LX. I have installed 5.0L H.O. It works great. One problem, I cannot not get the Tach to work. I was told that the V6 is a EECV and the 5.0 is a EECIV and the signal is different. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this.

I believe you need to swap out the computer for the EEC IV. I dont know of any other solution but that. Maybe someone else can find a cheaper solution.
