If you mean use the bungs, you could, but it's not ideal. The sensor needs to be within a certain distance of the collector to get a good reading. Plus the further you get from the head the longer any changes in fueling take to show up.
I use the rear O2s for my widebands. :/ should be a bit closer but my dunotune AFM wideband’s instructions told me I’m within the right distance from the collector to the wideband.
That’s too high, should be 14.7 or so at idle, 11.8 or so depending on fuel at WOT.
That is a wide band, not just an O2. Proper orientation is the sensor needs to be mounted on the top half of the pipe for moisture reasons and close to the collector. Looks like a Bosch sensor, they do get fouled and go bad.
Look up the brand gauge and see about a calibration step. If not, replace the sensor.
