Are you talking about an Eaton from a 2003-2004 Cobra? If so, it depends on what you're looking for, mileage usage wise. It was fairly common back in 2003-2005 to find unmolested Eatons with low mileage from folks that opted to go with a Kenne Bell blower. Years later (along with more mileage on average) people started to swap their Eaton for a Whipple, VMP or Kenne Bell blower (or turbo swap). That said, IMO you should be able to find a decent, low mileage factory (unmolested) Eaton if you're patient. Most of the used Eaton blowers out there for sale have had a pulley swap, which is very common. IMO the focus should be on the miles on the Eaton vs. wanting one that has never seen a pulley swap. Example. Someone might be selling a used Eaton that never saw a pulley swap but has 60K miles on it. Someone else might be selling a used Eaton that had a 2.90 upper swap at 6K miles and has a total of 20K miles on it. I'd rather go with the lower mileage Eaton in that case. You obviously know that you can buy a used factory upper pulley should you find a nice Eaton with low miles with an aftermarket upper pulley.
