Our daily driver Volvo wagon threw a timing belt and bent some valves. May not be worth repairing it's a 98 with 120K miles.

So I looked in the merchandiser paper and saw an older couple selling their 2001 Lincoln Continental. It's an automatic, power everything, sunroof, 70K miles, $4750 obo. I'm going to look at it tomorrow. It has a 4.6 modular engine. Any pointers on what to look for? Seems like a decent price for a real cruiser. Most old couples really take care of their cars. They are selling it because they are moving, probably into an assisted living village. TIA, Dave

This would probably be better off in the road side section but, these cars did have the A4XN trans which wasn't known for being the strongest, so make sure the trans shifts well.
