Oil Separator Results 2500 miles

JLT oil separator installed at about 300 miles and currently at 2500 miles

I have to check mine, I installed mine at 100 miles and ive got about 2500 on the clock

Just thought I would share. Didn't know if that was normal,excessive or even less than normal. I mainly looked b/c when I checked my oil, the reading was at the bottom of the range on the dipstick.

Going to watch some paint dry now

That looks like a lot of oil. I had 3300 miles on mine when I checked it and there was barely enough to cover the paper towel I used to wipe the cannister. IDK though.

That looks normal, i see about the same.

Had mine on for well over 10K miles

Just make sure you clean the filter every now and again in the seperator.

Many of these motors go through oil during break-in.

My first one did not, but the second one is using oil (only about 2000 miles on it). I suspect this is where the oil is going . . .
