Ive been reading threads about guys who have lowered their s-550 cars and had tainted results. Some have noticed creaking or thud noises, others have noted no changes in ride height in the rear after the install, or one side is up and one side is down. Kelly at bmr has noted in other threads that when lowering our cars there are certian bushings that have to be reclocked to the new lowered setting. Meaning the factory preload has to be relieved from its setting and retorqued to its new setting. This is done by having all 4 wheels on level ground with the full weight on the car and loosening specific bushing bolts taking the load off those bolts then retorquing them to spec. I want to know how many guys have done this or not and if so what were your results. Ive set up a poll so please participate.
