[QUOTE="stangfreak, post: 16381872, member: 10655"] I know they said the new blowers are moref efficient, they do make more power, but I just dont know how much of a difference in gains they make at low boost levels. is it worth spending the money, doing the swap, at low boost levels. That is what I am trying to say. Now if you are going to run 25lbs and up, I would consider the gen 4 or 5 crusher. I purchased the first run 2.9 with standard inlet bc I love how my car drives on the street with the billetflow throttle body. But it still made power at 22lbs. The car was impressive. when the 2.2 kenne bell came out, people were running 15lbs of boost and made decent power. more than the ported eaton. But, when they ran, the ported eaton with a aggressive pulley combo was kinda neck and neck with the kenne bell car. The peak hp number was cool and all but, it just wasn't being spun properly. If you have access to e85 race gas, get the gen 4 or 5 crusher. Run the right amount of boost. If you want to run pump gas low boost, I would consider another blower. Thats jut me. some people are happy running a 2.9 on 18lbs pump gas. It all depends on your goals. Im not one of those guys who likes to run twinscrews on low boost. Been there done that since 2003.
