[QUOTE="Dave_C, post: 15495798, member: 34969"] I'm back! I was a former GT500 owner. Ordered and bought a Vapor Silver 08. Got it in Dec 07 after a 27 month wait from deposit date. Kept it 2 years and sold it with less than 5K miles on it since it just sat with a hefty payment. It was stock other than KR mufflers due to my 2 closest dealers being sticklers for warranty issues. Fast forward 7 years. Found another identical car and brought it home last week. This one is not stock. Modified. Ford Performance Parts 2.9 Whipple kit. Was dealer installed and has their conservative 725 hp tune. Car also has a complete revised suspension with an M-18000-C adjustable strut and shock kit, matching sway bars and lowering springs. It also has an SLP Loudmouth exhaust with stock H-pipe and cats. It surprised me that's it not that loud at cruise rpm. The car has a Mag-Hytec rear end cover. Don't know if the gears have been changed. Likely. I also think the clutch may have been changed. It has less pedal effort and less travel than my former stock one. The lady I bought it from was the 2nd owner and knew it was modified but didn't know anything about the mods. She just liked the car and did the car show thing with her husband (2010 GT500 owner). The car had a an easy life I think. Still had the original Goodyear F1's on it. Late 2007 date code on tires. So far I have put a new set of Michelin tires and removed the aluminum rear window louvers due a rattle. Future mod plans for the time being are a set of SS long tube headers, low dust ceramic brake pads and perhaps a tubular K-member to make things a little easier to work on. If anyone might know the car or the original owner PLEASE let me know. I would love to talk to them to find out what has been done to the car. Car Fax shows the car was shipped to Haley Automotive Group in Richmond, Va. Dec 2007. It was first titled in Blossburg PA, March 26, 2008. First owner did the mods and owned it 5 yrs, 4 months and sold it with less than 4K miles. Vin # 1ZVHT88S885137679.
