Painting the grill sides ??

Has anyone painted the sides of the grill that are slanted body color to make it look like gt500 kinda but keeping all the GT stuff ? (there black on GT's)

I think I want to paint mine but I'm not sure. Thinking of taking that blue masking tape and tape the sides up. That tape is kinda close to GB, so it would give me an idea if I like it. I've not seen a GT with the lights in the grille and those bars painted.

I had mine done and then replaced it back to black.

I much prefer mine black, especially with heads and fogs blacked out. Six bangers have them painted...

when I added the Boss/Cali facia and splitter, I thought it just looked better black.

I am going to get the Roush fascia and have it painted like this car. I think it would look good with those painted body color. I think

Bumper is nice but Six lights? Too many for my taste

I was trying to figure out how to only paint the vertical bars on the outside of the grille and leave the rest black. Here is what I'm talking about using green masking tape. I didn't feel like going to get blue.

Yeah.. Got any of it on the car? Might paint the rest of it a semi gloss black. I don't like the grey plastic color.
