Please help! I bought a 2010 Roush Mustang 'Hammer' (700hp supercharged) a couple of weeks ago and disconnected the battery to do some electrical work. A few days later I went to get state inspection and failed the emissions test, due to four monitors not being active. I didn't realize that disconnecting the battery would wipe out the memory of the monitors. My bad. I went to local Mustang tuner the day after I failed and he checked the system and said the monitors ARE turned on in the tune, which seemed like a good thing. However, I have driven 300 miles over the past 7 days, utilizing all kinds of assorted "drive cycles" and all four monitors (CAT, EVA, O2S, HTR) are still showing "not ready" on my OBD program (AutoEnginuity). Perhaps the monitors have NEVER actually been ready? I have no way of knowing now, but I need to pass the emissions test. The car DOES have cats (hi-flo) and all O2 sensors appear to be in place. Can someone PLEASE give me some guidance on this issue?? I am lost, and very frustrated. I can fix most things on cars, but I am a bona fide newbie when it comes to the computer stuff. Thanks for any help. I am completely ready, willing and able to pay for some assistance here. Dave F, in Rhode Island
