[QUOTE="Silver Talon, post: 16230315, member: 192437"] I have no doubt that the cup 2s wont hook as well as the toyos. But they will certainly give up the win to the cup 2s when considering I daily the car. I'd have to put 3 or more sets of toyos on in a season considering the miles I put on my car currently. That and I get caught in rain on a regular basis on the highway, and the r888r just cant hold a candle to the cup 2s. Even the list of performance cars that come with cup 2s is pretty impressive. If the straight r888 was made in a 20, I wouldn't even think twice about it. With all the suspension changes I've done, even the continentals have been hooking very well so far. So a switch to the wider and stickier cup 2s will help compensate for the extra hp and gear the car will get soon. And honestly, even on kill in 1st gear, she just grabs and goes. I've already basically lost the ability to go do a crazy burnout. I kinda miss the old Goodyear's and their burnout on demand craziness. Even the second gear chirp is gone. The Goodyear's would nearly boil if I hit 2nd gear hard, and you had to modulate the pedal to keep the rear end from coming around. Now you just hold it to the floor and it goes.
