I bought the Gen3 a day before the Gen3R came out but it’s all good, it should make decent power for the meantime. The motor was built for max effort by Keith Rhea at Wonder Racing, I was super pleased with his attention to detail and how thorough he was with the whole build. My block is still the 5.8 with Darton sleeves, Winburg billet crank, Molnar power adder plus rods, 11.5:1 compression full custom pistons with every option you can have by CP, ported heads with Ferrara 1000 valves by Ron at Fox Lake, custom cams from Todd Warren degreed by Todd himself, Todd and I are working on porting and modifying the heck out of my lower intake at the moment to add more volume to to runners by welding the spots up by the injector bungs so he can get rid of a lot of the bump in inside of the runner. I also did the 10mm chain upgrade with Shelby Mikes guides. Getting ready to build a fuel system here soon with all Fore stuff so it’s getting close to firing it up, I have the smallest pulley on the blower you can get and a 15% lower so far so it should be fun. I’ll keep you posted when I get it together. The wheels are cheap but looked great for the price, I think I only paid $200 for each wheel, I’m running the VMP twin 67 till I decide what I’m doing next...
