Okay here's the deal. I have a friend doing a 5.0 it a 4 cyl fox, he put a e303 cam and 1.6 roller rockers. he doesn't know what length push rod to use it's his first try at a 5.0 build. heads are gt40's and stock block, can someone help me out with the correct length of push rods he needs so he can finish his engine.

stock length, which i believe 6.25"....is fine.

that's the length he has and they appear to be a quarter inch too short

i believe late model resto or summit has some that are around 6.37" or something like that. take a look at them.

get an adjustable pushrod checker

He'll need to measure the distance between the lifter and rocker arm with a pushrod length checker for an exact length. Then if he's lucky he will find an OTS pushrod set that is very close to the length and not have to have a custom set made to order.
